Products with "free from" labelling placed on the market need to be notified to the Swedish Food Agency. The notification requirement applies to pre-packaged products, intended for cconsumers labelled with the indication that they are free from one or more of the allergens listed in Annex II to Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011. The requirement applies to products placed on the Swedish market for the first time.
See 14-16 §§ LIVSFS 2014:4. The requirement applies to products placed on the Swedish market for the first time. In order for a food to be labelled with a “free from” claim, the claim must be relevant for the product group.
This e-service can also be used when notifying a change to a product that has already been notified.

Retrieve company details
